About the Job

We seek a dynamic and experienced Events Sales Manager to help our pickleball events initiatives in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through selling event packages, overseeing logistics, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients. We want to hear from you if you have a proven track record in event sales, particularly corporate, and a passion for creating memorable pickleball experiences!

Job Title: Events Sales Manager (New York City) 

What You’ll Be Responsible For‍

Event Sales

• Identify and engage potential clients interested in hosting pickleball events.
• Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed.
• Develop and present tailored pickleball event packages to meet the specific needs of corporate clients.
• Negotiate and finalize event agreements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute events seamlessly.
• Coordinate logistics, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
• Ensure all aspects of events and tournaments meet the high standards expected by our clients.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and thrive in an onsite, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree with at least three years of corporate sales, event planning, or entertainment experience.
• Knowledge of food & beverage/catering.
• Understanding of the NYC corporate events market and on-site event logistics.
• Computer proficient in Google Workspace, Tripleseat, graphic design knowledge 
• NYC-based and flexible to be on-site on weekends, holidays, and morning or evening hours.
• Passion for pickleball, racquet sports, or sports-focused events is a plus!

Compensation

$30-40/Hour, based on experience. Approximately 30-35 hours/per week.
